Our smoked
salmon is produced from the finest fish selected from the clear
waters of the Highlands of Scotland. Once they have passed the rigorous
selection process they are filleted and cured with salt. They are
then left to marinate until rich and tender before being smoked
slowly and carefully using Oakwood chips from a distinguished highland
whisky distiller.
Once rested after Smoking, the fillets have a rich texture and a
delicious flavour; a subtle balance of salt and smoke which is fresh and
sweet to the palate. Only the finest and best. Throughout the world people
associate Scotland with the finest of sea foods. The challenge we have
accepted at Celtic Traditions is to deliver the very best seafood straight
from the highlands & Islands under our 'Highland Hospitality' scheme
direct to our clients table as quickly as possible. A quality fresh
product .
Delivered to your table. Each side is pre-sliced trimmed
& boneless, laid back on the skin and vacuum packed.
It is then placed in a special insulated box with cool packs. Taped
and strapped to seal the cool box in order to maintain the smoked salmon's
quality during transit.
